KerryHaters was first to blog on the Christmas-in-Cambodia lie, way back on May 21. Too bad the elite media hadn't cast their net widely enough. They'd have had a scoop long ago.--Hugh Hewitt
Our friends Pat and Kitty at Kerry Haters deserve the blog equivalent of a Pulitzer for their coverage of Kerry's intricate web of lies regarding Vietnam.--Crush Kerry

Kerry: I Would Have Kept Saddam's Party In Power--UPDATED
Yet another reason to hate him.
But in several instances, Kerry attacked what he called the "horrendous judgments" and "unbelievable blunders" of the Bush administration. The mistakes, he said, included former U.S. occupation leader Paul Bremer's decisions to disband the Iraqi army and purge the government of former members of Hussein's Baath Party. Both moves are widely believed to have fueled the largely Sunni insurgency.
What a dope!
Update: The Man over at GOP & the City has a caption contest on this photo.
LURKING IN THE SHADOWS
This type of news keeps KerryHaters going.
KERRY IMPLICATED
Sen. Barbara Boxer will sign a letter of complaint claiming that the 2004 presidential electoral vote, which was recently certified by the Electoral College, should not be given final certification by the House and Senate.
…
Sen. John Kerry, who is currently traveling in the Middle East, claimed before he left that he and his operatives had nothing to do with Boxer's and the [Congressional Black Caucus’] decisions to pursue further delays. But according to a Senate source, Kerry did in fact send an e-mail within the past 36 hours to supporters encouraging them to call congressional offices and voice their support for Boxer's and the CBC's actions.
Crush(ed)Kerry:
It hardly seems fathomable, but John Kerry is actually less gracious in admitting defeat than was Al Gore in his bitter-end insistence that he won. Last night I received an e-mail from John Kerry which said, essentially, “Hey, we both know the Republicans stole the election in Ohio. I’m not going to do anything about it. But you should be pissed!”
And they posted the e-mail, which begins:
No American citizen should wake up the morning after the election and worry their vote wasn't counted. No citizen should be denied at the polls if they are eligible to vote. And, as the greatest, wealthiest nation on earth, our citizens should never be forced to vote on old, unaccountable and non transparent voting machines from companies controlled by partisan activists.

Curtain Call
Caption This has a very funny look at a Kerry photo.
5. Strange Factoid: The Highlights of the Kerry Campaign video synchs up with Dark Side of the Moon. This scene comes along about the time Floyd sings "The time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say."

ALBORE TV
Pat has posted his Predictions for 2005 at LifelikePundits, one of which is that Algore’s TV show will bomb. The WaPo gives us a glimpse as to why.
Tuning in to Gore TV: Little is publicly known about the cable news network planned by almost-president Al Gore except that it will be called INdTV (say it like "indie"), aims to wow the youth market, has set up shop in San Francisco and is supposed to launch this year. But what kind of shows will it carry?
We've received a glimpse of some of the programming envisioned by INdTV execs, who just sent out an e-mail to prospective "digital correspondents," seeking edgy video submissions to serve as pilots. Gore's programming gurus say they hope to "democratize television" by relying on Generation Y contributors and "real-life video."
HELP!

AND THE BLEAT GOES ON
Pat’s original reason for launching KerryHaters was for it to become obsolete by helping to re-elect George Bush. He envisioned closing down KH on November 3rd, yet KH continues to draw 200-300 hits daily. And Kerry, being the ego-maniacal elitist that he is, seems serious about a run in ’08. Picture Kerry and Her Royal C politically duking it out for the nomination, a vision which warms the cockles of a blogger’s heart. Kerry is too old to change his ways. Should he decide to try again, he’ll follow in that other pathetic Taxachusetts senator, Teddy K.
'I’m Going to Learn’
By Evan Thomas
Despite, or because of, a somewhat stoical and severe New England upbringing, Kerry has a tendency to natter at his subordinates, to blame everyone but himself.
…
He never quite came out and said it, but Kerry sounded very much like a man who was running for president again. He has a mailing list with 2.9 million names and an organization in every state. His moneymen have not backed away. By and large, Kerry has not been blamed for the defeat, at least not the way former vice president Al Gore was after the 2000 election. Some of Kerry's followers are already plotting how Kerry can defeat Hillary Clinton in the Iowa caucuses in 2008.
…
As for Kerry, says this adviser, "he thinks he's the front runner for '08 without recognizing that he needs to do some soul-searching. If he wants to come back, he'll have to come back as a different candidate, not the stiff who plays it safe and takes four sides of every issue."
…
The deeper problem may be Kerry's personality, which may be too distant or reserved to win mass affection. As this reporter left his house in November, Kerry called out and followed him down the street. He wanted to show a letter from a schoolgirl that had been left on his stoop. The letter read, in part, "John Kerry, you're the greatest!" Kerry looked into the reporter's eye. "The pundits have never liked me," he said. "Is it the way I look? The way I sound?" He seemed vulnerable for a moment, then caught himself, smiled and walked home to his empty house.
8 The Man found an interesting listing at Barnes & Noble: John Kerry: Our 44th President; Pub. Date: March 2005
UPDATE: The Man tells me that the Kerry book has been canceled. The B&N link he has posted on his blog, however, still works. If you search for the title "John Kerry: Our 44th President," you won't find it. However, if you search using the IBN# 1592964958, you'll find the listing. I'm not making anything of this; I just find this interesting. Seems to me that this isn't the first Kerry book to disappear from the B&N site. What was the title of that other book?
